Respect! Of all of those pilots, you were the only one who dared to transition south. I was certain you had made it. Just at the moment you reached the other side, the wind became weaker than it had been all day. Even at Volme, the entire group of gliders got low. It was just bad luck. You have a cross-country spirit, Rob! I see BIG flights in your future. Weider so!!!
Yes, didn't quite work out and exactly like you said when i got on the other valley side the wind slowed down and didn't give me enough lift to reach the top of the hill. But i got a good training walk out of it to return to my car. See you at the next flying occasion.
